Entertainment set company signs 299,234 SF industrial lease

SANTA CLARITA, CALIF., January 9, 2023 – Confirming the demand for industrial space in the Los Angeles area, JLL announced today that Scenic Expressions has signed a 299,234-square-foot lease at Saugus Station Industrial Center, a 69.5-acre, 975,300-square foot property located 25530-25765 Springbrook Avenue in Santa Clarita, California. Scenic Expressions, a provider of sets, storage and transportation for the film and television industry, will use the space for storage of its sets and props.
“We wanted a building that could accommodate the storage of large sets and that was close to Santa Clarita’s film studios,” said Mark Larinto, owner of Scenic Expressions. “This facility allows us to have a large presence in the Santa Clarita Valley for years to come with room to grow.”
Larinto continued by saying “We are expanding both in Southern California and Atlanta with large volume deals with traditional and streaming production content providers.”
JLL’s Brent Weirick represented Scenic Expressions in the lease. The landlord, COV-Saugus B LLC, was represented by Craig Peters of CBRE.
“The San Fernando Valley including Santa Clarita continue to see healthy demand for industrial space with the film and television industry being a strong driver,” said Brent Weirick, JLL Managing Director.
According to JLL’s Q3 Los Angeles Industrial Insights report, the San Fernando Valley industrial market vacancy sits at .8% with only 415,751 square feet under construction.
