JLL adds new brokers as it soft launches San Jose office at Santana Row

Having held a soft launch of its new Santana Row office last week, JLL announced four new brokerage professionals have joined the company in San Jose.

“We’re excited to fulfil the next step in our strategic plan to add a San Jose office which will better serve clients, accelerate JLL’s growth and attract and retain top talent in the area,” said JLL Managing Director Kirsten Grado who’s heading up the office. “This is both a challenging and exciting time in the commercial real estate business, and JLL is committed to working side-by-side with our clients, and in anticipating needs of this dynamic market cycle.”

JLL’s hires include:

Alex Lagemann, who joins JLL as Senior Managing Director, has almost a decade of experience in Silicon Valley tenant and landlord brokerage, building on a broad, entrepreneurial background including in the entertainment industry. Lagemann, a graduate of UC Berkeley, was formerly at Cushman & Wakefield where he completed over 600 transactions valued at over $1 billion and was honored during his tenure as the #1 NorCal Rising Star, Silicon Valley’s Rookie of the Year, and named a member of the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Bay Area “40 Under 40” Class of 2022.

Sean Toomey, MCR.w, SLCR, SIOR, is joining JLL as Managing Director. He has 24 years of experience in tenant representation in the region in institutional listing experience. He maintains an active leadership role in the Silicon Valley Capital Club and is two time Past President of the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers. Toomey’s business career began at Xerox Corp. and has included work as a Board Member with The Enterprise Network (TEN) of Silicon Valley, a NASA-funded incubator and accelerator for start-ups; Trammell Crow Company; and for the past 18 years was with Colliers where he was Executive Vice President.

Bryte Bellotti, named a JLL Managing Director, joins the firm from Newmark Real Estate where she was a Managing Director with a proven track record in advising clients on the development and execution of office, life science and R&D lease and investment transactions. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Bellotti’s earlier roles included stints at major technology firms including Salesforce and Box.com.

Maryjane Archuleta joins as an Associate with primary experience in the South Bay commercial real estate including most recently at Colliers and previously with Iron Construction. A graduate of Cal State University-Chico, Archuleta maintains an active leadership role in Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.
