JLL Capital Markets represents Rockpoint in sale of Building I at Apex Commerce Center in Apex, NC

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 19, 2024 – JLL Capital Markets announced today it represented Rockpoint, a Boston-based real estate private equity firm, in the sale of Building I at Apex Commerce Center, a 233,818 square foot, Class A state-of-the-art logistics facility located in Apex, North Carolina.

LaSalle Investment Management (“LaSalle”) was the buyer, and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Completed in 2023, Building I is the first of four buildings in the 845,000-square-foot Apex Commerce Center developed by Rockpoint and Oppidan Investment Company. The fully leased property features a 32-foot clear height, ESFR sprinklers and LED lighting. Its 260-foot-deep rear-load configuration and multiple storefronts provide leasing flexibility for a diverse suite size mix, aligned with the robust Raleigh-Durham small to midsize tenant base.

Strategically located near the ongoing I-540 extension project and just two miles from Raleigh's southern beltway, the facility provides seamless access to key demand drivers, including Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and Research Triangle Park (RTP).
