JLL elevates Erik Hanson to lead Northern California industrial investment sales and advisory efforts

SAN FRANCISCO, Mar. 19, 2025 – JLL Capital Markets announced today the appointment of Senior Director Erik Hanson to lead the Northern California Industrial Capital Markets team. Hanson, with 15 years of experience and over $10 billion in career transaction volume across multiple product types, will spearhead the region's industrial investment sales efforts.

Based in the San Francisco office, Hanson will work alongside Director Melinda Marino, reporting to office co-heads Charles Halladay and Rob Hielscher. The team will continue to operate as part of JLL's National Capital Markets Industrial group, led by Trent Agnew and John Huguenard, which executed over $11.6 billion of industrial disposition and equity placement transactions in 2024.

Hanson and Marino will work closely with Jason Ovadia's Northern California Industrial Leasing team to provide comprehensive services to clients in the region. Additionally, the team will continue their strong partnership with the Southern California Industrial Capital Markets team and partner with other JLL teams across the Western U.S., including the Pacific Northwest, Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City markets.

Hanson joined JLL in 2015 after nearly six years with Colliers. Prior to Colliers, he began his career in commercial real estate with the real estate advisory group at Duff & Phelps, a global valuation and corporate finance advisor. Throughout his career, Hanson has completed a diverse range of assignments for a broad client base including institutional investors, regional operators, corporations and private capital.
