JLL hires leading Life Sciences broker in San Francisco Bay Area amid rapid industry growth

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 24, 2022 – Amid rapid growth in the area’s life sciences industry, leading real estate and investment management firm JLL has announced that Allison Hoffmann has joined the market-leading Northern California life sciences team as Executive Vice President in JLL’s Silicon Valley office. She specializes in tenant representation for life sciences companies in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device space.

Hoffmann joins JLL Silicon Valley’s Life Sciences experts Scott W. Miller, Grant Dettmer, Cole Smith and Grant Yeatman. The team has helped lead the region’s life sciences industry to tremendous growth, and Hoffmann’s experience will continue to position the team as the market-leading life sciences team. Since 2020, JLL has been involved in 43% of all life sciences leasing volume in the Bay Area.

Prior to joining JLL, Hoffmann was Managing Director of Life Sciences at T3 Advisors, a Savills Company. She began her career in healthcare working with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Genentech and Gilead in sales and public relations positions.

Hoffmann earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications at the University of Colorado at Boulder and enjoys spending time exploring Northern California with her family when she is not working on the best possible deals for her clients. She is a member of The Board of Advisors for Life Science Cares Bay Area.
